Q: What insurance Plans do you accept?

A: We accept Medicaid, Wellcare, Amerigroup, Caresource, Peachstate Health and most major health insurance plans.

Q: What do I need to bring for my first visit?

A: There are several items that we suggest people bring to their first visit.

These include the following:

• old medical records (especially immunization records)
• list of medications
• insurance card
• any co-pay amounts due

Q: How often should my child see the pediatrician?

A: Your child should not only see the pediatrician for an illness, it is also important to schedule well-child-care exams regularly, beginning in infancy. These routine examinations provide the best opportunity for the doctor to observe the progress of your child's physical and mental growth and development, to detect problems through screening tests and to provide immunizations. Well-care visits are strongly recommended as part of preventive pediatric care.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends this schedule for routine well-care visits:

• 3 to 5 days
• 1 month
• 2 months
• 4 months
• 6 months
• 9 months
• 12 months
• 15 months
• 18 months
• 24 months
• 30 months
• 3 years
• 4 years
• And once every year thereafter for an annual wellchild check up that includes a physical exam as well as a developmental, behavioral, and learning assessment.

Q: What forms of payments do you accept?

A: Cash, Credit cards (visa, mastercard and American Express), debit card and personal checks.

Q: How can we transfer into your practice?

A: During your visit to our office, please fill out the medical record release form and turn in to our front office. We will forward the form to your previous pediatrician, so that your records can be sent directly to our practice. The form is also available on our website.
